Hi, I'm Rolando.

You’re here because something isn’t working—and maybe it hasn’t been for a while. Whether you're feeling stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by emotion, navigating the burden of trauma, or struggling with addiction or depression and anxiety, I want you to know: you’re not broken. You’re human—and healing is possible.

I’m Rolando aka Ro, a therapist in Morris County, NJspecializing in trauma healing, addiction recovering, and mood disordermanagement. My approach is focused on being warm, collaborative, genuine andgrounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel truly seenand safely supported. Therapy doesn't mean there is something wrong withyou—it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have beensilenced, hurt, or lost along the way. 

My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t just professionallymotivated—it was shaped by my own experiences. I know what it’s like to carrythe weight of depression and the pain of trauma. For years, I felt inauthenticin my relationships, detached from myself and others, and struggled with the beliefthat I was a burden on those around me. That sense of isolation was heavy, andit took time—and the right support—to begin to heal. 

My lived experience shapes how I show up for you. I draw fromevidence-based practices like CBT and DBT to help you build real, sustainabletools for coping and change. We may also explore deeper healing work throughEMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), or work with expanded states ofconsciousness through Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), if that feelsaligned with your journey.
